Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra

This past weekend we got to go to the Chilliwack Cultural Center to see the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra and the Chilliwack Metropolitan Youth Orchestra perform. Our friend Anya is the Tymanist in the Orchestra and asked if we would take photos of the Orchestra before and during thier performance.

This is the Orchestra just before starting the show. The photo below is the Youth Orchestra. It was a fabulous show, music was awesome!

For the last two pieces both Orchestras combined to play together. There is a lot of talent in the Youth Orchestra, I am sure we will see more of them in the future!

The next show is the Fab Four, a Beatles tribute band playing with the Metropolitan Orchestra and we plan on taking Photographs of that show as well. It is scheduled for next month.

Berry Bushes

Abbotsford is the Berry capital of the Fraser Valley. The farmers are already hard at work preparing berry bushes for Spring.

We have our annual berry festival on the long weekend in July. A two day celebration for all things Berries. A lot of people buy enough of the different berries to freeze and  have berries all through the winter.

It was a cold wet rainy day when this photo was taken, and I liked the way the waterdrops clung to the wires.
